This is my second ShortCut shaver. I used the first for about 5 years and then decided to sell it and try a different brand. The goal was to use one shaver for both cutting and trimming.
That was a big mistake. There is nothing better to cut your own hair very short but not shaved. The variety of combs and the ergonomics of the ShortCut's shape are unique.

I love this shaver but in the same time I hate it because I keep going through one a little over a year when my warranty runs it stops working so far. I’m on my third one. The only reason I keep buying them is because I can’t find anyone else that works Like yours. Now I have called to see if it could be replaced, but all I get is it’s over a year I would appreciate it if anyone can do something about this problem and please get in touch with me if you can.

Works great until it stops working... in 4 months!

I like this product. It feels great in my hand and does a good job of buzzing my hair. I really do like it and will probably buy another one once the one I have dies (I dropped it and it has a crack, so it's only a matter of time).
I DO have two complaints about it though:
1) I tried cutting my husband's hair with it and it hurt him. His hair is thicker than mine, mine's pretty wispy and thin, while his is a full head of hair. So maybe this isn't a good option for that type of hair.

2) It cuts just a *tad* longer than I'd want it, without any attachments. I compared it to my older shaver and saw this one leaves my hair just a tad bit longer than the true 0 that my old shaver delivered. This is fine, but it does mean I have to buzz myself every 5 days instead of every 7.
Update on 7/2018: well it hasn't even been a year since I purchased it and it's already kind of dead. The battery doesn't keep a charge anymore, and when I plug it in, the motor revs up to its full speed over a matter of minutes rather than immediately. Maybe my motor or battery is faulty.
I'm buying a second one bc when it worked, it was awesome. Let's see how long the new one will last...

It's been 4 months and my second one is dead. The battery looks like it's bad and is functioning now just like my previous shaver that didn't last a year. Now this one lasted only 4 months. I'm very disappointed and I really liked this shaver. So I'm now making this 1 star because this is the second shaver where the battery died quickly.

I got my Shortcut Pro, watched about 5 YouTube videos, then dove in to cut my hair. I was more than pleased with the results and might continue cutting my hair, even after the Pandemic

Weak motor; pulls out thick hair!

Thick hair, esp. beard hair, will get stuck and be painfully pulled out! This is very painful and not worth the convenience of the rest of the design. I fully charged and cleaned the device. I tried 4 different days. Ouch.

I have used it twice and its working great! It feels solid, and built well. Its a solid feeling smooth motor. I am still getting used to it and giving myself a good haircut, but i like the way i can angle it in my hand better than the traditional style.

Glad I found it when I was researching another scalp shaver. It is so easy to use! I'm bald and I use it to shave my head. Only takes a few minutes. Fits perfectly in my hand and it's cordless, so never have cord interference. It doesn't cut as close as a trimmer, but it's close enough and don't have to worry about cutting my skin accidently. I highly recommend.
