The shortest setting is not that short. Quality seems pretty good, but if you’re interested in a relatively close buzz, this is not a good option. Really unfortunate, because the design feels good in my hand, and it’s easy to maneuver. For a product that appears to be geared toward the head-shaving crowd, it definitely falls short.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I absolutely love this clipper more than the many others that I've tried.....but I've purchased 2 recently that are not of the same quality as the one I used for 5 years. The first had an extreme lack of power and the second has dull blades that are cutting me after 2 shaves.
