Redoing the kitchen. Needed a smaller fridge. It fits perfectly AND everything from the old unit fit as well! No good place to set the ice cube tray. I'll probably invest in a little shelf for it (them).

Great fridge

We purchased this fridge as a beverage fridge misc. for our bar/second kitchen. The unit is quiet, functional, and looks great, especially with the black sides.

great--with one exception

I have a small kitchen with stainless appliances, and it's really difficult to find a small bottom freezer refrigerator that fits through the door. This one replaces another one from a different manufacturer that never worked well and died after 4 years. The GE cools and freezes well, and the stainless finish is hard to smudge and easy to clean. The one draw-back is that the freezer has a single wire mesh drawer which is hard to organize and through which single-serving pieces of meat and fish can easily slip; as it's likely to be used in one- and two-person households, it's a little hard to understand what the people who designed it were thinking.

Surprising amount of storage - and very attractive

We bought this smaller refrigerator to put a smaller footprint in our kitchen. We thought it would require quite a sacrifice - it hasn't. We purchase more judiciously and the space is more than adequate. And we love having the freezer down below...it makes the things we use regularly so much more accessible

Better than the RV fridge

I live in a 5th wheel and my RV fridge died. I was ready for a regular fridge and this model fit exactly into the same space. It sticks out four inches from the framing but that just makes it easy to grab the door handles. I love how everything is at eye level since the box it is in is 10 inches off the floor. I do wish it had a shelving slot about 12 inches from the base because the door bins are too tight for a gallon of milk. So I store my gallon of milk on top of the fruit and vegetable drawer and had to take out the shelf above and there is wasted space up to the next shelf slot. Anyway it holds twice as much as my RV fridge so I am a happy camper.

Size is perfect, service not so much...

I thought this would be the perfect refrigerator when I down-sized into my new Mother-in-law Cottage, size was perfect for the space and what I need. Unfortunatly the noise is terrible, and service isn't any better in getting it fixed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
