pretty good but some design issues

This fridge is great in terms of shelving and size. It seems to keep food perfectly cold and I LOVE having the fridge on top and the freezer below. And the brushed chrome with the black sides and top is so stylish. A couple issues: after a couple weeks the fan started making a huge racket which stopped when the fridge door opened. I had to call for help and that worked well, they sent someone out who told me the freezer was overfilled. Which was due to the freezer design: there is a top shelf that extends all the way across the freezer and goes up to the door. However, there is also a shelf on the door that will bump food if you've put food on the whole top shelf. This apparently was preventing the freezer from closing correctly, which let a little bit of air in, enough to cause frost to build up in both the freezer itself and in the fan system which made the fan overwork. Hence the noise. We have taken care to not fill that top shelf up all the way and so far the noise has not repeated. But they should either redesign the shelf so it does not come so far forward (best option) or include that detail in the fridge instructions. The only other issue is that the black paint seems to scratch easily, but that is less important.

Fan trouble and worse

I bought this fridge a few years back because I needed one this size for my kitchen and trusted the GE brand. It worked fine until, like everyone else, the fan made a loud noise and the inside wasn't cold. Repairman came, said it iced up, unplugged it and said turn it on again in 24 hours--and not to use the coldest setting. I told him that, unless I used the coldest setting, the fridge temp is too warm and not in the "safe zone" (I have thermometers in both the fridge & freezer). OK, Fast-forward to this December.: The freezer works, but the fridge was warm and I had to throw out all the spoiled food. The repairman said that the top fan was dead and would have to be ordered. A month later, he told me that the fan had been DISCONTINUED by GE so the fridge was shot. A FREAKING FAN AND GE DOESN'T MAKE IT ANYMORE FOR A FRIDGE THAT'S LESS THAN 10 YEARS OLD. Now I have to buy a new refrigerator and, of course, it will be any brand EXCEPT GE. My GE washer & Dryer are also getting old. I will also be replacing them with a brand other than GE. You lost a customer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Compact Fridge

I just bought this fridge about a month ago for my grandparents, and its a great size for them. They can reach and get to all of their food with no problem.

Awesome little fridge for our modern world. Sleek and advanced even though I would have loved an ice maker, we'll just have to buy some cool ice cube trays.

Very nice features but too noisy to have in your house unless it is in the garage or utility room. One of the fan cycles is a very loud growl.

Perfect size for my RV.

I bought this refrigerator to fit in my motor home. It fit in the existing hole with few problems and left the proper clearances. I love having the cold fridge and freezer.
the one complaint I have is the shelves. Unless I remove a shelf there is no room for a gallon of milk. There is not enough adjust ability, it would have been nice if they had used the adjustable shelf support system with the brackets and standards at the rear of the fridge, or more places to put the existing shelves.

Perfect size but disturbing noise

We were so happy to find a top fridge and bottom freezer with no handels on the front that fit perfect in our kitchen and then so disappointed when it after two months started to have constant loud sounds. Don't know if we just got a problem product or if all have the same issues

Very noisy

I bought this fridge a week ago. I live in a small condo and it fits nicely in my small kitchen. I love the freezer on the bottom. But I was shocked at how noisy the fan motor is. It is so loud that I can hear it in my bedroom.
