At the sweet spot of performance and price

We've had our new 50" LG plasma TV for about a month now and we are thoroughly enjoying it. We're feeding it with digital cable and the images are phenomenal. Some of the features that we've already found useful are the Cinema Zoom to fill the screen with a DVD image that is HD aspect ratio but with box bars on all four sides, and the feature of setting image size automatically according to broadcast. We tweaked on the default brightness/contrast settings to get just the picture we wanted, and adjusted audio tone settings to our preferences. Over all really happy with the product. By the way, the narrow frame around the screen is a definite styling plus.
Our only negative is one that comes with all plasma TV's: the screen glass is mirror finish, so reflections from lights and windows can be bothersome. But that just comes with the territory.
We could have purchased even better performance by paying a lot more money, but this unit is at the sweet spot of performance and price. Love it!

So far so good with my LG TV. I bought the TV for the size, features and price but the picture quality and color are top notch.

I am extremely satisfied with this TV.....did some research, kept coming back to the LG line. Even the internal clock is accurate, something missing from my last TV!
I would highly recommend this TV to anyone in the market for a plasma set.

Compared alot TV's side by side it seemed to have the britest picture, and a great value, the sales person said they had the fewest complaints and repairs with LG. Frank from Latrobe

Fantastic TV, except for the speakers

This was my first plasma TV and it replaces a 5-year old LCD of different manufacture. The colors on this new TV are fantastic; a mega improvement from my old TV. The controls are easy to use and surfing and tweaking the settings is also easy. My only issue is with the speakers. They are acceptable, but not as good as they could be, but, I guess when you try to put speakers into a TV that is only a couple inches deep you can't expect too much. Overall I am very satisfied with this TV.

Excellent Picture with easy set up

Took this TV out of the box, went through the set up and the picture was great. After a week went through the Picture Wizard set up and now the picture is even better. Great TV for sports viewing.
