We bought the previous iteration of this fridge 10 years ago. We loved it. Still looked good as new when the compressor broke and we were advised that it'd be cheaper to replace than repair. The new model cost more than its predecessor and is inferior in every way. Regret the purchase.

We could not be more pleased with our Amana large capacity , bottom freezer, refrigerator. It is everything we wanted: Exterior is the perfect size and it is not stainless steel! We are aging and were finding the freezer on top in our old fridge just didn't make sense. We were bending all the time to restock and reach the soda's and water bottles. We use the fridge much more during a day than the freezer, it just made so much sense to have the fridge on top and the freezer on the bottom. The fridge has so much space, it is awesome. And the freezer, along with so much space also is compartmentalized so everything that is put in it is so organized. It is also a very quite model which is another great feature. We also have not had any problems with temperature controls. The fridge keeps every thing cold and the freezer keeps everything frozen. Thank you Amana for giving us just what we wanted!

Best fridge yet

I am very happy with new fridge. Ample shelving allows big and little things to fit just right,all in view. I am so happy with large fridge interior.
It is large and even with sliding door entry handle had to be removed to get it inside home.
It is keeping food nicely cold and frozen. Mostly quiet, it makes some noise when in defrost cycle.

Perfect for my needs!

Its a little bigger than my previous appliance and that alone is worth it. The refrigerator on the top is the BEST! I can see everything easier and I like having large shelves on the door.

Nice fridge, but the Veggie drawers are awful!

We had the same type of fridge and decided to buy the same brand and style this time around. We bought our new one a month ago and hate the fruit & veggie drawers. Retailer brought new ones, but they are the same. No rollers on drawers, so they stick and there is no support in the middle of shelf between drawers. I was told not to put too much weight on shelf and in drawers, well come on, a person needs to use them!

Almost a Home Run

This refrigerator has all the features we needed and it fit in the space of a 1960's home. The only shortfall is the plastic handle, which creaks when the door is pulled, and it's kinda cheap looking. With decent handles this would have been a five star.
