Happy with it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the same model of Amana that I purchased almost 30 years ago. That one worked excellently and reliably. I decided to replace it, maybe too soon, wondering how long it might last. This new one is pretty quiet and holds temperatures consistently. I like the lighting within and the glass shelves. I don't need or want an ice-maker or cold-water dispenser, so this is perfect for me. The estimated yearly use of electricity is good, but I don't know why it doesn't have or wasn't submitted for the Energy Star rating. I am optimistic that it will be as reliable as the one it replaced.

The Best of the Best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this model refrigerator for over 15 years. Loved it! So then so we decided to get the same one. Absolutely love it and are thrilled with some of the improvements we noticed. Very sturdy steel cabinet, unlike some of the cheap tinny stuff out there! Lots of room and nice configuration of the shelving. Easily accessible for top and love the bottom freezer section. Great product.

Split shelves are a wonderful advantage. After almost 5 months there is one small problem is extremely strong suction on refrigerator
door, after opening it's best to wait 30seconds to try to open again.

More cons than pros

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Refrigerator temperature is accurate and the seals are very good. Accessibility is good.
Cons: Both freezer baskets have a center divider that is un-necessary and limits the room in freezer.. Refrigerator motor runs for around 25 minutes then goes off for 15 minutes then on again for 25 minutes even without any door being opened. The refrigerator motor is extremely loud when its running.

New Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is nice and spacious. Shelves in unit and door have several placement options to choose from. Freezer is also spacious and easy to use.
The biggest problem was getting the icemaker installed since it doesn't come already included. It was quite a hassle to get someone to put it in. Must ask for contractors from the store to install it. Not the people actually working for the store. Icemaker works well and we are happy with this product.

Amana 33 inch wide Freezer Refrigerator Dependabil

We have owned an Amana 33 inch wide bottom freezer refridgerator for over 25 years and it was always dependable through the years keeping food cool and frozen foods frozen. The design inside made it easy for cleaning when needed. The condensor recently went on it and it is now out of commision. We are now looking to get another Amana 33 inch wide bottom freezer refrigerator because of the dependability we had on the one we had. We hope to find the right sale for our senior budget. We highly recommend this
