Perfect for our needs

This choice has met our needs. Size was great for our space and the color was perfect (black). Space is used well on inside and easy to customize and lighting is great.

I just bought my new Amana refrigerator and I love it. It is so quiet and keeps everything fresh. Love the bottom freezer too.

It does stay very cold .

The frig and freezer stay very cold. I was disappointed in that it doesn't seem to have wheels ( so it can't be leveled) and that it is much smaller than my old side by side.Also the bins are smaller.Just thought it would have been bigger inside. Also there was no ice maker and had to order it separately.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent for minimalist lifestyle

This refrigerator is perfect for my husband and me, now empty nesters. We don't use a lot of ice, so we opted out of the ice maker. We avoid packaged foods and tend to cook from fresh ingredients every evening so the limited freezer storage is fine. There is plenty of room on the refrigerator door for milk, juice and bottles of wine. There's plenty of room for storing food when we cook for family or company. We probably could have gotten by with the 18 cubic foot model. The only downside so far is that to vacuum dust off the refrigerator coils you have to remove two screws that hold the bottom bracket to the frame. Why did they do this??

Lots of room

I just got this fridge and love it. I had a French door model before and did not have as much room on the doors to store things...plus I always ended up opening both doors and one of the latches broke (different brand) love this new one-I have it in black

Our trusty old Amana has finally given up the ghost. Never had a single problem with it until this year when the compressor started making lots of noise and temperatures became unreliable. This is just a basic workhorse refrigerator, and if you're not mesmerized by lots of electronic bells and whistles, you should be very happy with the reliability, quiet function and steady cooling.
