I bought one a little bigger 5 years ago and love it. I moved and it wouldn't fit into my new kitchen so it is in my basement and bought this one just a few inches smaller. It is quiet, stays cold on the #4 setting. Never a problem in all these years. The smaller one I just bought seems as big as the other one. Don't even notice the difference. Freezer on the bottom, you can't beat it. How often are you in a freezer? Mostly you use the refrig, so no more bending to find things.. it's all in easy reach!! I would always recommend the Amana refrig!! It's the best!!!

I just bought this fridge a couple weeks ago. I don't know if it was me or the sales lady but it's 2 inches too tall. So, I have to cut into the cabinets, which is ok for me. I'm not using them anyway.
I just wished that the front of the fridge was textured just like the sides and top. I really like that feel.
The shelves are adjustable and keeps everything cold and frozen.
LOVE it other wise and probably would buy again, if the price was right.

Delivered 2 weeks ago. So far, so good. Stainless is only on the front, which is a plus for me. Switched from a top freezer to bottom freezer. Love being able to see everything in the fridge without having to bend down and look up! Freezers drawers are nice since all food is not stacked making it hard to get to. More room in the freezer without an ice maker (my preference) but it can be added if you want one, which is a good option. Plenty of room. It was bigger than I thought it would be, but still fit perfectly in its space.

This is my second Amana refrigerator/freezer of this type. ( My earliest one was a side by side but I don't have room for that type anymore.) It is spacious inside. The freezer is also spacious. What I miss are the extras, like the egg box. The drawers for fruits and vegetable are smaller than my previous one. The door sections are deeper so that may account for the short drawers. I kept all the inside plastics that I had with the first one. The installer didn't really do a good job inserting the drawers and although I have tried, they still give me some problems. All in all, it's a great refrigerator. I did buy the 3 year contract just in case but I didn't have any problems with my previous one, which I owned for 17 years. (Then the freezer stopped working and it's cheaper to buy a new fridge than repair.)

For years I envied my cousin's fridge top/freezer bottom refrigerator and said "one day I shall have one too"! Well, the first one we bought was for our daughter last year and this year it was my turn. The decision was perfect especially for someone who has back problems and now my husband had surgery which meant lots more home cooked meals and lots of ices for treats....chocolate Italian ices is what he craved after his surgery. Not having to bend down constantly in search of food and having everything at eye level for regular food preparation has been wonderful and a true blessing. I hope to enjoy our Amana for many years to come and highly recommend it to anyone who likes this type of luxury.......for me right now it is worth more than diamonds!
