The refrigerator and freezer parts do their cooling jobs well. I like the stainless steel finish, but it is hard to wipe clean and keep shiny. The doors are very tight to open, but it helps with energy efficiency. The inside is bright and easy to work with.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this because I love the ease of getting food out of the top. Freezer on the bottom is very easy to open and close. Just the right amount of space for frozen food. Very stylish and fits well in our kitchen.
We bought our new Amana Refrigerator because we loved our previous Amana one, which we had for a good number of years. Our new one is a very similar model. We are very happy and satisfied with our purchase and have and will continue to recommend Amana products to our family and friends. Thanks Amana for reliable products through the years. We trust your brand, not an easy statement in today's world, but one we are happy and grateful to be able to make.
I always thought I needed a top freezer for maximum space, but this freezer with sliding rack in door seems to give me all the space I had with old refrigerator. As a bonus, the configuration turns out to be more energy efficient. I like the layout of the refrigerator section and options for reconfiguring it a lot. Only downside is that the handle can come off the freezer if you pull the drawer out repeatedly at a left leaning angle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the Amana a month ago. Replacing a unit ( top freezer) that came with the house. No more fridge noise! Great to have everything within easy reach. Roll out freezer is convenient.
So far so good, it has everything we wanted, nothing more and nothing less. we were limited by space constraints because refridgerators have gotten larger but this fridge fit perfectly. Fingers crossed it lasts 28 years like the last one.
