[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the new refrigerator, but it makes a noise every so often. I think when the motor kicks on . I think the hydrator doors are sort of cheap. Well, I mean the runners that they are on. It's not easy to just push the drawer back. I have to try a couple of times and jiggle it. I don't like that aspect of the refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Amana's bottom freezer had a problem and the service person stated since it was over 15 years old he would not advise repair expenses so I told him I would like another Amana, same style. I also talked by phone to the manager and repeated that I wanted an Amana just like the one I had. I loved my old Amana,
not one problem until now. The new Amana is almost its twin, just a few differences. More space in the door
shelving but a little less in the interior. I am adjusting to the slightly shorter vegetable and fruit compartments. As to the rest of the interior, I am now locating things quicker and easier. The spacing is adequate and shelves can be placed in any suitable pattern. Personnel at my favorite appliance store know me well, they advise, sell and also provide quality service. I knew Amana is a top quality appliance so it was only natural I would desire another. And I can still have magnets holding pictures of my grandchildren!

Look and works great but needed more storage in door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first type of refrigerator I bought and I went back to it. Having the freezer on the bottom is so convenient. There is much more space when you don't have the fridge split in two like my last Amana. They gave me too many shelves. I have one in the closet! The dairy/egg shelf for the door could be designed differently so that it could be placed flush with the top of the door. Now, it has to go on the second bracket and that is not very efficient. And, the light bulb burned out after two days. :(
Otherwise I am very happy with my Amana refrigerator. It is efficient and It is what I love.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator has a knocking noise when it 'kicks in to cool'. Seems to work fine but I am concerned about the knocking noise. Also, door will not stay at open position without opening all the way and hitting wall, off balanced perhaps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased Amana because I already have a dishwasher by the same brand and I loved, not only the price, but the quality. The upside down fridge (as I like to call it) is great for my height. I never liked the side by side fridges because I could never put large items in them. This style of fridge lets me place substantial containers or trays without having to worry how it's going to fit.
But the most significant thing about it is that I don't have to bend over killing my back looking for items and there is less chance of forgetting food shoved in the back of the fridge. The style plus the price of this brand make me love my fridge!
