[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the refrigerator for almost two weeks, and we are very pleased with it. We are especially impressed with the Amana Customer Service line where we have addressed several questions in these first few weeks of ownership. The people at Amana answer the phone quickly and provide complete and excellent information about questions a new owner may have. We are very pleased with the ability to reach directly into our refrigerator for everything and not to have to bend any longer to get to fruits and vegetables like we did for too many years with our last box. It is a pleasure to be able to open the door and have everything in front of us. The freezer on the bottom is a wise choice for both the room it provides and the ability to have more space in the refrigerator area. So far, very pleased!

Like the freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only had it a week. To early to give a true review. What I do like is the look of it. I like that it does not have a water set up. It’s hard to find a refridgerator that has this look. To bad they all don’t come this way. All in all so far I like it. Lots of room in the top part, and so far I like the freezer compartment. I would refer my friends to this.

We are spoiled by the storage capacity

Overall, this refrigerator is a savior for our backs. The temperature stays right on the money. We are still playing around with the shelving, but we are grateful to have so many choices.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only have the Amana refrigerator for a few weeks and thus far it is very quiet and temperatures are perfect for freezer and refrigerator. However, I am very disappointed that the interior, same size as my 25 year old Amana was, didn't even come with a loose ice tray, egg tray, butter dish, no place for cheese etc. It is totally naked inside, plus the vegetable compartments are not as long as the 25 year old ones, and the freezer is much smaller. Would never have bought this model if I had seen it at a store. Was forced to buy via Internet, despite having shopped at at lest 5 or 6 stores. One of my criteria for purchase was I had to be able to use magnets on the door for my photo gallery and this model accepts magnets.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of Space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this model when our old side-by-side was on the way out. This model provides an incredible amount of storage space in the refrigerator section, and adequate freezer space. It takes some getting used to the lower freezer unit, but doesn't present a problem. We are anxious to see how the Energy Star rating affects the electricity consumption. Overall, we are quite happy with the product at this early date since installation.
