Bottom. Of freezer builds up

Every couple of days I have to take a thick layer of ice out of the bottom of the freezer . After spending a lot for this appliance I really do t think we should have to do this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pull out freezer drawer moves from side to side if not opened exactly in the center of handle . Seems flimsy inside compared to my prior Ge profile refrigerator. Is noisy when cooling if the door has been opened for a few minutes

This Amana is great, my wife keeps telling me how much she likes it and a great feature is that it has an incandescent light instead of led so the food looks good.too.

Love Amana Refridgerators

We just purchased another Amana refrigerator with a bottom freezer and just love it. Won't buy anything else but an Amana product.
