I bought this refrigerator 3 months ago and I have been happy with its features. One feature that I have found to be especially convenient is the adjustable split glass shelves. This allows for a lot of flexiblity in arranging shelves to meet my needs.

So you don't want to add ice cube trays anymore... that's fine, but at least put the ice cube tray holder back. Where are we suppose to put the ice cube trays??? if you shake they spill all over the bottom of the freezer... elderly shake! Not to mention they take up extra space where the food could go! I understand you wanting to "save a buck" about eliminating the ice cube tray holder was NOT the way to go! At least offer them as a part that could be ordered. I would gladly order one! Other wise this is the second one I've have in my home... I love them both (the first one has a ice cube tray holder!)

We just replace our 33 year old, 22cu ft Amana bottom-freezer fridge (WHICH IS STILL WORKING) with the similar current model. For 33 years we had no problem with our fridge and the only reason we replaced it was for a kitchen color change, going all white. The old fridge is still running great. Just hoping that the new one will be as trouble-free as the old one. One thing is that it will be more efficient!! The door is not closing properly and needs an adjustment. My only other complaint so far (just delivered 2 days ago) is that Amana has neglected to provide ice cube trays and ice holder for those of use that do not want the ice maker!! It would have been nice to have that feature that would fit properly in the drawer. Very stingy on Amana's part!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the new refrigerator, but it makes a noise every so often. I think when the motor kicks on . I think the hydrator doors are sort of cheap. Well, I mean the runners that they are on. It's not easy to just push the drawer back. I have to try a couple of times and jiggle it. I don't like that aspect of the refrigerator.
