How the Amana Bottom Freezer Model really works

We like our Amana bottem-freezer model very much. The only issue I have is that the freezer door is difficult to open sliding out. (I have health problems). I think an door opening like the fridge portion might be easier to work with from a walker or wheelchair...otherwise you are always in the way of the opening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my husband and I thank our new Amana refrigerator for the easy access to our fruits and vegetables. Not having to bend down (we are still very active) to look for the items we use the most. Less spoilage of the food we could never see at the bottom of our old refrigerator. More space in both compartments and love the pull out freezer drawer. We are so happy they finally made this model in a size that will fit our small kitchen. We are very happy.
