I had a. Otter box on my iPhone and dropped the phone and the whole back is shattered,phone still works but I thought otter box warranty that put I found out diffferent.sent me a new case now I need to upgrade for to 5c and the case they sent me is for a 4s

Very happy with my otter box for i phone. I did drop it and the case broke but the phone did not which is the point. I was able to get a new case through the warranty easily. The only thing I would change is that I have the pink and white, since the rubbery part is white it gets really dirty and it's hard to clean. Would not get the same color next time.

The case does protect the iphone well however at times it seems the phone gets warm and then malfunctions. I am not sure if it is an iphone issue or related to the Otterbox. I have had an excellent experience when my previous Otterbox broke a piece off near the charging section, I received a replacement with no issues very quickly. I definitely would recommend these cases and this company to others, and actually have done so to my own mother.

I received a replacement for my Commuter Otter Box for the Iphone 4, because the first one's hard case snapped off in several places. My Iphone never sustained any injuries so the product definitely protects, as it claims, but regular wear and tear caused parts (like the covers for plugs) to eventually come off, and the edges on both sides of the hard case broke apart. My new one is still 'new' but doesn't fit on the product like the old one did. It is slightly warped and there is a gap between the back of the case and the phone, so it always looks like it's popping out. Probably a defect, but not the quality I was hoping for.
Pros: protects the phone
Cons: Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
