Only flaw in this case is it dosent fit the Iphone 4 perfectly.

Protection level per dollar can't be beaten!

I got my iPhone about a year ago, and immediately placed it in my Otterbox Commuter case. My sister opted to go for a cheaper art case she found somewhere else with a similar dual protection design. Her case broke, cracking her screen after only a short time and a short fall. My phone fell off a second floor balcony and survived without even a scratch: no cracks, no damage at all. I'd recommend this case to anyone.
In terms of cost for level of protection, Otterbox simply cannot be beaten.
My only minor complaint is that it takes a few tries to get the inner case to fit perfectly into the plastic outer case: one side or another can stick out, so you have to try again.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: few colors

I love otter boxes but, the commuter series can tend to rip and break easier than all the other ones. I had my iPhone 4 in one for two years with a screen protector and it still looks brand new. If you want more protection with a case that breaks less go for the defenders series. I wouldn't choose anything else other than a otterbox.

Cons: Not durable, case rips, plastic can break

This is a nice case for the device. It is tough, yet streamlined. There was a little difficulty in the installation since it is such a tight fit, and one side of the case seems to fit better than the other. That may be a result of the struggling to get the case on correctly. Overall, seems to be a good product.

Even though this case offers great protection for my iPhone, the thing I like best about it is the customer service I've gotten from Otterbox. My case broke and they sent me a new one, no questions asked. I will always buy Otterbox cases for my phones just because of the great customer service I've received.

I loved this case for about the first two months and than all the cons about it became clear. it gets filthy gross and is a huge pain to get clean, it lets dust dirt and other junk in behind and all over the inside of the case. the soft rubber part gets stretched a little more and a little more everytime you put it back around te phone after cleaning. iv had it for a total of 10 months now and its ripped all the way up the side and has fallen appart in chunks and dont get me wrong im not rough on my phone i take care of it. overall i would never purchase agian or reccomend anyone to waste their money and time

I would not to use a protector on my phone, but not to is just plain foolish. My Otter box protector works very well doing that job. Looks good and does the job - it's a necessary evil.

I e-mailed Otter box when a noticed a crack in the outer case. I expected to have to purchase a new outer case. After following the directions and taking a couple of photos, I was sent a complete new case at no cost. Could not have wished for better service. Have and will recommend Otter box.
