I purchased this case because of its sleek design. Easy to slide in & out of a pants pocket. The hard plastic cover cracked after only a few weeks out of the box. However Otterbox warranty was awesome & replaced the case without a problem.
Pros: easy to slide out of pants pocket & protects phone

New Design Needed for Outer Shell

I had this case for about a month, only taking it off a few times to use my dock. My brother had dropped the case, and it cracked where the apple sign and edge meet. I was disappointed, but I still used it. After that, the case continued to crack, the part above the charger place, next to the headphone place, and one of the edges.
Although, it is a very nice case, it protects my phone when I use it soo yeah.
Pros: protects phone
Cons: Low quality, breaks

I bought the commuter series, and really, it is like my iphone is unbreakable, although I had a little problem with my case, because it broke on the lower right corner, it didn't stop protecting my phone. I contacted customer service and they quickly replaced my case. It is working perfectly, I think they could have more designs or custom designs.
Overall, great protection. Hope that little mistake my case had is fixed and never happens again.

I have the commuter series for my iPhone and have had it for about 2 years. Over the 2 years, I dropped my phone upwards of about 20 times and sometimes it hit the ground hard enough to where my phone would turn off. I was always able to turn my phone back on with no problems and my phone stayed in perfect condition. The last time I dropped it, a small part at the bottom of the case cracked. I was able to use my phone to complete the online warranty and received a new case within a few days. I will be staying with Otter Box!

The Commuter has been an excellent purchase, in fact I own two of them. My only suggestion would be to make the silicone pad a little less sticky. It's fine for the first 4 months or so, but then the silicone starts too "break down" and becomes sticky and too flexible, which in turn, makes it more difficult to get in and out of pockets. The Commuter HAS done an excellent job of protecting my iPhone tho, this is just a suggestion for your engineering department!

Great Case

I have two otterbox cases for my 4s, the defender and the commuter. The defender is great protection but a bit heavy for everyday pocket carry, so I find I use the commuter most of the time. I have dropped my phone from 5+ feet on to concrete (unfortunately more than once). I have cracked the case...but the phone is perfect! The combination of the shock absorbing inner piece and the hard (and easy to slip in pockets) outside is unbeatable.
