I understood that having an Otterbox on your phone meant that your phone would be protected. I work in an office and when I leave work, my phone goes into a pocket in my purse. I don't know if someone sat on my phone in a booth, or if someone bumped me with my phone, but now the back on my new iPhone 4S is shattered and there is a new crack in the otterbox I got less than 2 months ago. :(
Cons: Low quality, Not durable

I had to replace a broken otterbox and this was by far one of the easiest warranty claims I've ever dealt with. Send a couple of pictures wait a week and your new otterbox is on your porch.

Purchased Otter with my IPhone 4S. Went to store to buy replacement when a couple of pieces fell off at the bottom of the case. Store salesman told me to contact Otter for replacement because they had an excellent warranty policy. I did and warranty clerk took my information, asked me to send a couple of pictures and they looked at them and determined that I could get a replacement at no cost to me. They processed the information, and shipped immediately. Customer Service was excellent. My call was handled in a timely professional manner and I had my replacement in less than 5 days. OUTSTANDING!
