I'm happy with my purchase- the case has done a fabulous job of protecting my phone so that I feel safe using it for everyday activities. My only dislikes are vanity complaints: the case is brighter in color than the photo online appears, and the rubber part of the case picks up dirt and make-up easily (especially my foundation comes off on it regularly and has stained the edges a brown skin-tone color).
Pros: Durable
Cons: rubber case gathers dirt and makeup easily

The first commuter series case i purchased broke within a few months near the bottom where you charge the iPhone 4s. Your company was great to replace it free of charge through the mail. Once we received the new commuter series case it broke in the same place within a couple weeks. I have not contacted your company regarding the replacement of the second commuter series case.
Cons: Low quality

Not only does the Otter Box protect my phone, the customer service is outstanding. The hard shell on my case developed a crack. After contacting customer service, I had a new case delivered in three days. It doesn't get better than that.

Had bought an Otter box case for my I phone and has functioned extremely well with the exception it cracked at the lower corner where the speaker/charger outlet is located. This same problem occurred with my wife and daughter's case.
But Otter box couriered out a replacements and we are completely satisfied and impressed with the product and the company.

I love the protection that my otter box gives once it is on my phone. I always feel safe to toss my phone in my purse or bring for my workouts (so I can use my boxing timer). But there are a couple things that irk me about it. I have to remove my case to put it into my arm band for running (wont fit otherwise) I have to remove it to put on my I-pod dock or to use my cables for playing music in the car. The silicone cover wont allow for proper seating on the dock. And all the on and off with the hard shell case is very hard on the case. My last one broke trying to put the case back on. I also made the mistake of buying the yellow/grey case. Love the color scheme, always get compliments, but the yellow gets grungy really fast.
Pros: High quality
Cons: Not durable, shows grunge, makes listening to music hard

Really like the OtterBox Commuter Case. Protects the phone while not adding too much bulk. Only complaint is the separate screen protector comes with removable white tabs to assist with installation which are affixed to the screen with some type of gluey substance. The glue is impossible to remove thereby making the screen protector unusable. Using it with glue residue on it making the phone screen blurry where the glue residue is not acceptable at least to me. I had to purchase a different screen protector which did not have gluey residue on it.

This case is a good, inexpensive option; however, the top left opening of the case is not large enough to plug in an AUX cord without taking the whole case off.
