Bad Inner Color Choice

I purchased a Commuter Case less than a month ago. The color I got was the Viola/White. I love the case and I love the Viola Color, but the White rubberized inner part gets dirty so fast. I think Otterbox should sell the inner part separately so you don't have to buy a new case when the white part gets dirty. The inner part of this case should be a dark color.
Pros: Durable

Not inexpensive, but protected my phone like no other case I've had. Just received a FREE replacement after 15 months with the first one. It had cracked just a bit but was still protecting the phone. From now on, there will won't be any other case for me!

I have a Commuter OB. It has broken twice. Plastic too thin in some critical areas. Overall, I like it because it protects the phone well and is not so bulky. I am disappointed that the company does not make a belt clip or holster for this case. I do not want a Defender because of the size. I have been through three Verizon belt clip holsters which are made of vinyl and if they catch on anything, like getting up from a seat, they tear out the clip. I am an active senior but not a jock so this has been a problem. Otter Box replacement policy is great once you figure out how to take the picture they want.
Pros: small size
Cons: Not durable, no belt clip

My first Otter Box lasted 3 years. The rubber casing had started falling off, but the hard plastic protecting my phone was still in tact. I notified Otter Box and had a new free case in a week or so. This company is awesome and I would recommend their phone cases to anyone...especially if you are clumsy or have children! ;) If I would have any other phone cover, I would have been replacing my phone a lot.

At the moment I really love my Commuter iPhone case. In fact, This is the 4th one I've loved in the past couple years! For about 8 months, It works just as advertised: great protection, and it slips easily into my pocket unlike a lot of the bulkier cases on the market. Then out of the blue - no drops or rough handling - I notice that the hardshell outer case is broken. generally the skinny piece above the charger port. I've also had breakage on the back edge while attempting to remove the hardshell portion of the case. If only Otterbox didn't use such a brittle plastic this would be about the perfect case for me. Thank goodness they back their products so well. My son asks why I keep getting it replaced when it just keeps breaking. I tell him as long as it gets replaced, it's the best case out there for 8 months or so.
Pros: great warranty, great protection for about 8 months
