I think the Commuter Series is a good unit for the Iphone. I have this on my Iphone and it has protected it numerous times from getting damaged. The only complaints I have through our company is the silicone eventually stretches out of shape on some units. The newer ones are more durable than the earlier units. The white silicone is a real bust. It gets soiled very easily and looks dirty from then on.
Pros: Durable
Cons: white is bad color for silicone

My favorite part about the case is the plastic screen cover. It has had coffee spills, chocolate fingerprints, etc. and it is like brand new. The case is great, but unfortunately mine broke. It was replaced immediately - or at least the Customer Service Otters tried. Fedex had issues, but the Customer Service Otters both worked around them and got me another one quickly. Love the case, love the company!

Thanks Otterbox and staff for developing and supporting a GREAT product. I ordered 14 Commuter Series Cases for new smart phones. Because of the rough handling by staff and a durable case we have had just a few problems with phone and cases. Otterbox staff were very supportive and eager to replace cases that were damaged because of staff use. Thank again Otterbox for being an excellent company to your staff, community and to your customers. I wish I could work for Otterbox!

I LOVE my Otterbox. I call it "two-year-old proof" because I have twins and my iPhone has withstood many drops and tosses from the kiddos. Otterbox has the best customer service as well!

After several years the corner of my Otter case broke. I went online and followed the replacement instructions. Otter shipped a brand new case to my home to replace the damaged one at no charge. I love this case and was very impressed with the customer service!

I purchased an Otter Box when I purchased my I4S cell phone. I have enjoyed it for almost two years, but found it a bit bulky when trying to carry it in my pocket or purse. I went to your web site and found the 4S commuter series case and ordered it. I am very happy with the size as it is easy to slip into a pocket or my purse. My only complaint is the following. I use a walker and keep my cell phone with me at all times for safety reasons. The phone is so slick that it has fallen off the walker many times where the original Otter Box stayed where I put it.

Good Protection without the bulk of the Defender

I chose the Commuter case because I didn't like the bulkiness of the Defender, but still wanted to protect my iPhone 4S. I love that you can protect the headphone jack and charging ports from getting dirt in them. I had previously used the Speck brand, which is also a good case....but these don't offer the additional port protection. I learned the hard way to NOT purchase knock off's because they don't fit your phone properly and can cause it to malfunction. I did have a quality issue but Otterbox is replacing my case by just submitting some photos and giving them purchase date information. I had previously purchased the Teal and just recently purchased the lavandar and white. The colors are much prettier and vibrant than they
appear online. The teal isn't near as dark, but a little brighter. And the purple is also a little brighter. I would highly recommend Otterbox and will continue to purchase their cases for my iPhones.
