Couldn't Be Happier

My wife,daughter and myself love our commuter cases for our iPhone4's. This case fits like a glove and really protects our phones, the fit and finish is perfect and the materials are high quality as always. We have been Otterbox fans for 6yrs now and have had several different Otterbox's for all of our phones over the years, we will NOT use any other brand as we are Otterbox for life. I would like to give customer service a big thank you for all you guys do, Otterbox has the best CS in the business and that's a fact.
Pros: High quality, Durable, stylish

Well Done OtterBox

Flat out this is an amazing and reliable company. My phone was case was cracked at the top and I emailed ottter box explaining my problem and they sent me a new case no questions asked. I've never seen a company with better customer service. But now to the case. I have this case in Viola and it is the most durable case I've ever had. Even with the small crack at the top the case protected my phone.
Pros: High quality, Durable, great customer service

Cracked in 4 months

Not a great case! The lower portion of the plastic piece cracked off within 4 months of light use. My wife babies her phone and it was never dropped or abused. On a side note, if you chose to purchase this case, do not get one with white silicon. It will look filthy within a couple weeks. Not happy with purchase especially after reading so many good things about Otterbox. Hopefully the warranty department is good on their word to stand behind their products. Fingers crossed!!

This was my first Otterbox purchase, and almost 2 years later I still love it! Fits great, and protects my phone without the bulk. Thanks for making a great product!

Great Case!

I've had my case for a year now and I didn't have any problems until recently. I dropped my phone and the plastic near the bottom cracked on one side. A few weeks later I dropped it again and another crack formed on the other side. Just yesterday the bottom plastic near the charging port came completely off. Luckily, it was still under the one year warranty. Overall, it is a great product, just try to avoid dropping it too often!
Pros: protective, slim
Cons: port covers do not stay in

Poor Case

My boyfriend and I each have this case. He had to return his because the inside rubber got all loose and stretched out. I'm in the process of getting mine replaced because the hard plastic shell started coming apart in pieces...it's missing two chuncks out of it and is cracked really bad. I never even dropped it!
Cons: Low quality, Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I recently received my Otter Box Commuter and am elated with it.
1. Its sleek and slides in and out of my pocket with ease.
2.It is quite rugged, having dropped it several times and with no damage.
3. The closures for the headphone jack and the power charging outlet are snug and keeps out dust and debris.
As for several comments that mention the rubber pinches and rolls up when putting the case on the phone, NO..! I experienced the same problem initially. After several attempts at putting the case on the phone, I found that this issue can be eliminated.
A. put the rubber cover on the phone
B. then slide the phone into the top part where the on/off button is.
C. then gently open each side and put the phone into the case
D. last , spread the bottom gently and put that into the case
PRESTO.no more pinching of the rubber and the phone is tight .
One great product !!

I have had my iphone for around 8 months and my case for just as long and have never taken my phone out of its case. I do drop my phone but not as much as a normal person. After a couple months parts of the plastic started to break off at the top around the power button and headphone place. And just a while ago I looked at the back of my phone through the case and saw a huge crack. I took off the case to see the back of my phone shattered with shards of the glass in the back of my case. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!
