The screen protector with this box is cloudy - can't use it. The case is great, but would definitely plan to get a different screen protector.

First of all I was told about Otter Box buy a truck driver who said it was the best protection. I bought a defender series at that time. It proved to be solid and the protection was very good. It was how ever kind of bulky and I never had much use for the holster; I simply did not work in an enviroment that required the extra protection and the holster. I have since purchased the commuter series which prove to be much lighter and less bulky. I did however have some difficulty with the screen protector provided with the commuter series. I suggest you read the application instructions carefully then proceed to apply with care and attention to avoid bubbling and tearing of the material. All the holes and buttons line up perfect, also it feels real good in my hand and in the pocket.
Pros: High quality, very nice fit and feel.
Cons: be careful with the application of the screen prot

I love this case. It protects my phone but also is not big and bulky. It will still fit into the side pockets of my purse. (Any girl knows this struggle!!) The only thing I wished this phone case has that it doesn't is a built-in screen protector. It comes with a screen protector, but it's one that you have to put on by yourself. I like the protection of the Defender series, but it's bulky. This style is more practical for me. :)

I have owned 3 OtterBox cases and 2 of the 3 broke or cracked at the bottom front narrow rigid part of the case. The 3rd one is new but I expect that it, too, will crack. Also, the flap that covers the charger connection point does not stay closed, rendering it useless.
Cons: semi-durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was happy with this case for a few months... I'm a fairly clumsy person and dropped my phone a lot on all kinds of surfaces. It successfully protected it for countless falls.
However, after a few months of use, the squishy part of the case stretched out, the headphone jack cover tore off, the charger cover tore off, and one day, when I dropped my phone, the back of my phone shattered. I can't say I was surprised because of how bad of shape the case was in, but I was disappointed with the product because I felt like it definitely should've lasted longer than it did.
