So I never had problems with the case not fitting properly as other reviews have indicated. My only issues are the rubber attracts pocket lint and the plastic shell breaks easily. I've had two crack at the bottom so far.
Cons: Low quality, Not durable

Not worth the money

I have had two of these cases (in a span of 3 weeks). My first case craked as I was taking it apart three days after I had purchased it. Otterbox send me a new case and now the silicone part is too big for the hard outside part, so now the hard plastic layer doesn't even fit on. Not worth the money.
Cons: Low quality, Not durable, breaks easily

Iphone 4s commander

My son bought me this phone cover for my birthday a day before I had it flown from my scooter going about 28 mph, If I
didnt have this phone cover on my Iphone my phone would be a total loss!! I hit an uneven pavement on my scooter, my phone flew out of compartment on the scooter onto the pavement going 28 mph, a car ran over it not literally but over the phone, nothing was damaged on phone cover or the Iphone!! Needless to say I had to clean the phone cover off but thankful that I was given such a durable cover the day before this happened!! Thanks to my son & Otterbox!! I recomend this phone cover to everyone that has an Iphone you'll be sorry with any other cover!!

I really wanted to like this case, I actually went through two of them, exchanged the first one when I noticed it cracked in the back lower corner. Now I'm not tough on my phone, I don't drop it often and its always protected. I didn't have the second case more than 2 weeks before it too cracked in the same spot. I never once dropped it either. I tried supergluing the second one and that didn't help. I generally like otterbox products but this one is just a fail. Two cases cracking in the same spot is not a coincidence, that's a design flaw.

I wanted white!

Well I had the white/blue case for about a week. Then I had to stop using it! The white rubber started to turn a cream color from the dirt. It is a terrible material that was used. I had an otter box commuter case before this that was white and it never happened until i got one of these new ones. The case is not blue and a dirt color. Highly disappointed this time.

Not what I expected

I just recently got my IPhone 4s, which I am super stoked about and I decided to order a case at the time I pre-ordered the phone. I was so excited about this case because of the protection it offers. My favorite color is dark teal and I didn't want the other colors because they are to vibrant for me. So, the blueish teal one is the one that sold me. Rushed home to get my package, opened up the package, and....disappointed. The color ended up being more of a pastel blue and on top of that the hard case you put over the silicone case doesn't line up making it seems like two unit instead of one.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Low quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not what I expected

I was always impressed with my friends iphone 4 commuter case. I had high expectations when I ordered this case. I am disappointing in the quality and design. The hard shell does not align correctly in the top left and bottom right of the phone. I have spend over an hour trying to correct this with no luck.
When I showed my friend my case, he thought I bought a knock off, as the quality looks much less than that of his iphone 4 commuter. On the bottom right of the silicone shell, you can clearly see the spot from the injection mold, as well as silicone remains that should have been trimmed off after it was molded.
Hopefully I will be getting a replacement soon...

Disappointed

I bought the pink case for my wife's iPhone 4S and it didn't last one year. The plastic cracked and chipped from very typical use of any phone. The case wasn't even dropped or otherwise abused. Having had other OtterBox cases for iPhones and our iPad, the poor quality was very disappointing and unexpected. I have a reflex series case on my iPhone 4S that I bought at the same time as this case, and it has held up great.
Pros: none
Cons: Low quality, Not durable
