I originally bought an Otterbox case when I first got my iphone and it was really cute and protective. After using it for two whole years, with many drops down the stairs, it still held up! I got a new one because I wanted it to look like new and because it was the best case that I had ever bought before. I will definietly be buying more Otterbox products!!
Pros: High quality, Durable, cute design
Cons: iphone is harder to put in pocket

I have a Commuter case which was free when my phone was upgraded to an iPhone 4 in May. Since then, I've had to send in a form to Otter Box for a replacement, which I was thankful for. However, shortly after I received my new Commuter case a couple weeks ago, my phone fell off my desk onto carpet and cracked.
I am slightly disappointed in this as it would be understandable if my phone had fallen onto concrete or another hard surface, but that is not the case. A friend of mine told me about the Defender, which I am hoping to get sooner than later as it seems like a better one that the Commuter.
Pros: i like the colors
Cons: Low quality, Not durable

An OtterBox was my very first case that I had when I got my first Iphone two years ago! I can confidently say that I have never used anything else and am truly impressed with how well this case has held up after countless blows. Even if it did crack I knew that all I had to do was send them an email and they would send me a new one free of charge! This is why I will forever be an OtterBox fan, and user!

Bought a new otterbox a few months ago and within a couple of weeks the bottom portion of the otterbox broke. They did replace it under the warranty and after less than 2 weeks the cover broke again. The phone was not dropped, misused, or abused in any way however the small piece just above the recharge port broke and fell off.

Cons: Low quality

The first defender case I bought only lasted from February until August. It had a few cracks and a piece of the plastic actually came off. The silicone part of the case was sturdy and good for protection however. I did put through a warranty and received a new one at no charge which was an easy process and excellent customer service. Overall, I would buy another one for sure.

Cons: plastic not overly durable
