Warranty service is fantastic!
Case protected my son's phone in the army, but didn't survive.
"on a chance," I submitted a warranty request, not really expecting satisfaction. (ok, I am cynical!)

To my surprise, the "request" process was easy, straight forward and painless. Otter replaced the case quickly without any hassles.
For this level of support alone I would / will be purchasing their cases for the other phones in my family.

Well built case with plenty of colors to choose from. The instructions are easy to follow and the case components go on the phone without any problems. The only weak spot I noticed is the hard plastic right in front of the opening for the charger. Mine broke over time due to plugging and unplugging my phone daily. But Otterbox promptly supplied me with a replacement case. So overall I am very happy with the case, the warranty, and customer service from Otterbox.

Excellent case for protection. One design problem: the plastic boarding at the bottom of the phone case always break out. The rubber stays in place to protect the phone.

I bought pink commuter series for the IPhone 4. It is very thin compared to the defender series. The one thing I do not like is that when I wear blue jeans my white silicone will have lite blue streaks from the jeans rubbing on it. I have also looked at IPhone 5 Otterboxes and do not like that whomever has IPhone 4/4s has less of a selection compared to the IPhone 5 Otterboxes.

Cons: silicone stains easily when wearing blue jeans.

The case itself is very good. I love it. The silicone hugs the phone nicely and the hard case is snug and VERY protective. The case covers the sides and a few millimeter around the front of the phone so even if the phone falls face down, there is protection for the screen.
The only problem with the case is that it cracks on the bottom by the input port if dropped. It still provides great protection though.

Great customer service. After a run-in with a boat trailer my Otter box was pretty crushed but the phone was intact!!! they replaced it right away happily. Then a week later, it ended up in the rain and sadly the Otter Box could not protect it from that - it has died .... guess I need to pay more attention to what the phone gets up to!!!! Now the Otter Box will have to be reassigned to a replacement!
