This otter box is great for protection. Only issue I have is that the white, soft rubber part gets dirty very quickly and the dirt does not come off even if washed. It makes the case look grubby. I would definitely buy another otter box but next time it will not have any white on it.
Cons: white rubber holds the dirt and looks grubby

I have dropped my phone, and it has been completely protected. Pros: Comes with its own screen protector. Durable. Fits perfectly. Protects all of your ports. Great customer service. They replaced my silicone part since it did not seal and got stretched out. Cons: My only complaint is that sometimes it is hard to swipe from the bottom of the screen towards the top to get the flashlight and dimmer and volume functions menu to come up. But it's not impossible. It's heavy, but worth it for protection.
Pros: High quality, Durable, great customer service.

I have found this product to be excellent in protecting my cell phone. I've dropped it numerous times and haven't had a scratch on it.
After almost a year of daily usage, it the plastic broke near the recharging port as did the rubber at that point. I went online to advise them of this. They responded immediately to my email. I then sent in a picture of the product on the template I downloaded, scanned the photos and sent them off to the company. Within a few weeks, I had a new Otterbox protecting my phone.

protects the phone fine and i like that it's not too bulky. The problem is I can't access any of the ports on the phone without taking the hard shell part of the case off which is difficult. I'd like to be able to use my phone for music in the car or even just charge it while it's still being protected and that's just not possible with this case. You have to take the bulk of protection off to plug anything into it. fail.
Cons: not functional

This case is for my high school daughter's iPhone 4S. I use a Defender for my 4S, but she just needed a case. With my experience, NOTHING beats Otter Box's rugged reputation. She has dropped her phone from short distances as well as "accidentally" tossing it in her Cross Country & Track bags when going off on practices.
It's like I said, noting beats Otter Box - NOTHING!

I purchased a 4s in early 2012 and immediately purchased an OtterBox as well. The OtterBox has protected my phone, even on hard surfaces like concrete, yet it does not interfere with the function of the phone. The touch screen is still appropriately sensitive, the size only slightly larger than the phone, and the color is great. I also like the material it is made of bc it cleans easily and keeps its shape. Best of all, OtterBox is backed by the best warranty ever. The company is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. I would not have an iPhone without an OtterBox!
