I dropped and splashed my iPhone numerous times w no damage. The case was easy to put on except for the screen protector. I always seem to get bubbles!
However...after a few months the outer shell cracked and a piece eventually broke off. Otter Box provided an excellent experience honoring the warranty.

I like my otterbox, the rubber part of the cover is white. it grabs dirt and is difficult to keep clean. I would have liked a darker color rubber part so the dirt didn't show so much. it's overall purpose is to protect my phone and it serves it purpose well. I would purchases otterbox again just be wiser about colors.

I had originally purchased this case because I liked the way it looked. I still have an iPhone 4 nearly 4 years later because of the quality of protection this case provides. After my case had been taken off and put back on many times the thin plastic around the charging port on the outer shell had a hairline crack. The crack is merely aesthetic and does not change the level of protection the case provides. I was able to utilize the warranty portion of the Otterbox website to quickly receive a replacement. Otterbox has taken ownership over the expectation I have for the quality of their product and recommend it based off of this as well as how they handle their warranty claims IF something does go wrong.
Pros: great warranty, great protection

Actually the inside rubber piece does not fit tight, so the hard cover sticks out on one side. So I guess it isn't the best fit.
