I have had the Otterbox defender and the Commuter so far and have loved the durability and customer service. For both cases when there was a minor issues with the phone, Otterbox made it very easy for me to get a replacement case at no cost. I have dropped my phone several times with both cases on and loved it. I initially got the defender when I first got the iPhone for the most protection, but I have found that the Commuter is less bulky and protects my phone just as much. Otterbox may seem a little pricier than its competitors, but to me it has been more than worthy.

I have this on my iphone 4s. I dropped my phone in my office and it didn't fall far but the entire back of my phone is shattered. I do not recommend this case! It protected the screen but my phone is still completely shattered on the back. DO NOT BUY THIS.
Cons: Low quality, Not durable

The case does a great job protecting my phone. I have not had to replace my Iphone 4S since I got it almost 3 yrs ago!
The case warranty is great and EASY to use! The outside case frequently cracks in the same spot at the bottom. I replace the case for this reason about 3-4 times/year. The inside case stretches out of shape so I replace it when the outer case needs replacing. The only downside is that you have to get the same color you originally purchased.

Great protection for the Iphone, however it is fragile around the opening for the connector to the charger. After only a couple of weeks it has again cracked and chipped off in that area. It is still protecting the phone however.
Cons: Not durable
