The 4S Commuter Series case is THE most frustrating phone case ever made. Don't know why the was kept on the market. I'm on my third case in a year. First one broke at the one corner after 3 weeks, (couple ppl also told me exactly where it was gonna crack) kept it till all 4 corners were broken and the top finally peeled off, took me about 6 months to finally got off my butt to send these pics in to get a new one. The second one broke at the same exact spot and was just a disaster, even worse than the first case. So I've got no corners on it, top and bottom pieces are off and takes me another 4 months to get off my butt and email in more pics. On my third and it's exhausting....
Cons: Low quality, Not durable, bad design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I started buying Otter Box cases because my daughter kept dropping her phones. Well, she drops everything. She has had no more broken phones since. None of us have. The company really stands behind the warranty and even a bit beyond when parts are still available. I say this because I dropped my phone and cracked the hard cover, (twice). Twice they replaced the entire case and the second time was past the year warranty. Can't complain about that!

I purchased my OtterBox because I knew that my phone would get destroyed otherwise. After 12 months, the case was pretty much in shambles, but my phone was still intact. I wrote to the company and they replaced the case free of charge, standing behind their product. My phone is now still well-protected and I don't have to worry, and I now have full faith in the company.
The case is not bulky, the newer design does not interfere with the camera or the flash (something I found to happen with the old design) and the protection that OtterBox gives my phone is unmatched on the market.

I purchased the otter box for my Iphone 5s.The quality seems to be better than my old iphone 4 otter box but its missing the flap that plugged into the bottom of the phone. My 4 was completely submerged in lake water one night when I stumbled off a dock. I removed the otterbox from my phone and just let everything dry overnight. Next morning my phone worked perfectly and has ever since. I give credit to the otterbox for saving my phone.

I really like my case. However, I have had a difficult time with the silicone part of it. It seems like every time I go to open the ports, little pieces break off. OtterBox has been GREAT and has shipped out new cases every time the silicone breaks off to where I can't open it anymore. But it is a little frustrating at times. The white silicone is also especially hard to clean when it gets dirty. The case itself is fantastic, and I would buy another one, but I would probably get a different color scheme. My boyfriend has the solid black one and he hasn't seen these troubles at all.
