i love the guarantee that comes with the product. Even though they advertise the defender as not being waterproof, it is very water resistant. I dropped it in the toilet and pulled it right out and there wasnt any water in the phone whatsoever!

I had this case when I first got my cell phone. It lasted for almost two years before my constant switching of covers caused the bottom part to snap one night.
But the company was great about it and sent me a replacement within about a week.

The commuter case is great for protection if it holds it shape and stays on the phone. I have been through several of them since they are under warranty, but if I get a new phone, I wouldn't purchase another commuter case. The rubberized piece folds under itself and then gets caught in the hard plastic and basically pushes the hard plastic off the phone which leaves it unprotected if you don't catch it to fix it regularly.

Cons: Low quality, doesn't stay put

Buy an Otterbox! The screen protector is great too! I cringe when I see people without cases and I cannot bite my tongue. I ask friends, co-workers and strangers, "Where is your case?!" I then pull out my phone and say that there is nothing like an OtterBox. With a kid and my butter fingers, we test the limitations of a sturdy case like this and if we break it, it is replaced...quickly too!

I do enjoy a high quality product, but good customer service practices is the quickest way to gain my trust and endorsement. After my phone had fallen off my bedside table, breaking my OtterBox Communicator case for my iPhone 4S, I went to Twitter to thank them for protecting my phone so well. They replied with a link to a warranty form, which was a quick 1-2-3 process, and a week later I had a brand new case. No charge. I really appreciate OtterBox sparing us the unnecessary hoops that we all usually have to jump through to get things solved.
