I was really excited to receive my new otterbox commuter for my iphone 4s however in a week the silicon inside layer became dirty and the bright white is now dingy. This is really disappointing, and then when I requested a replacement part in a darker colour in could not fit.
I do like the Avon pink but I suggest that Otterbox consider making the silicone layer in dark colours only.

I've had this case replaced four times within 6 months now due to little chips and plastic just easily breaking. Not durable. Yes, they replace the product for free but I expected it would last longer than a few months.
Cons: Low quality, Not durable

Liked it when I first got it. Has protected my phone on numerous falls and best warranty ever. Replaced with no difficulty even after two and a half years of use. I like the ease of opening and closing plug cover and the soft rubber cover has ment no cuts on hard edges. When I finally change phones it'll be the first thing I buy for the new phone.

I got my first otterbox when I bought my 1st iPhone a little over 2 yrs ago. It saved my phone MANY times from drops. I'm sure that if I didn't have this Otterbox on my phone I would have broke. I had to replace it recently only because I suddenly started this habit of poking my thumbnail into the soft part of the front and it was looking bad. So far I haven't done it again. I've had it a coupld weeks and dropped my phone x2. I belive if I didn't have the Otterbox I'd have already had to buy a new phone! Go for it! Looks cool and easier to hold.
