I've had two OtterBox iPhone cases now - the Defender and the Commuter and both are great quality and very affordable! My first case, the Defender, is more of a rugged case designed for people that may be rougher on their devices. It has a combination of hard plastic and rubber casings to protect from dropping and light water damage. I washed it in soapy water and the rubber distorted (my fault) so I replaced it with the Commuter. This case is thinner yet still has a sufficient amount of protection. It encases the phone completely but does not have the thick rubber casing. I rarely drop my phone so this is the best case for me. It slips easily into my back pocket and is easy to retrieve quickly. The colors and styles are unbeatable! For the money these cases rock!

I am so glad you asked because I have been meaning to email you and just didn't get it done. I had an otter box that was about 8 months old and it cracked. What a simple process to replace. I was utterly amazed at how quckly and efficiently you processed my request. I believe I had it in less than a week from my original request with no hassle at all. This kind of outstanding customer service will set you apart. Thank you for standing behind your product. I love my otter box. Guaranteed my phone would be smashed without it. I would recommend it to anyone ....it's worth every penny!!
My only suggestion is that I would love something prettier :)

The otter box is good except it did not come with the protective covering for the front. I ended up buying one

I love the quality of the Otter boxes. They provide excellent protection for my iPhone. Have dropped my phone a number of times and never has been damaged. A must have when you have young children!!
Do not like the soft white rubber under case though. It gets dirty so quickly and can not be cleaned. Having the soft rubber part of the case be a dark colour would help it to not look so dirty.

over all this product is the best. My only wish is that Otterbox would allow you to mix and match skins with the different hard covers. Why is it that the only rubber skin you can get with the Pink hard case is white. You should let customers mix and match and be expressive.

This is a good case as far as protection goes. However, it has some weak spots and broke on one corner so I had to replace the case. Otter is 100 percent guaranteed so I can appreciate that about their products. The white portion of this case gets very dirty with use over time, poor design as far as color.

I have an otter box for my ipad and I love it, but I was disappointed with the one for my iPhone. I have had to replace it twice because it has cracked. I also find the white part gets very dingy and cannot be cleaned up. I like the design of the ipad case better because the rubber part is on the the outside and the plastic is on the inside and whatever the white part is made of (some sort of plastic) stays clean. I would not buy this type of otter box again; however, customer service has been excellent and they replaced both cases without any hassle.

Cons: Not durable
