Brilliant invention having a large & a smaller work bowl, no need to have two completely different processors any longer. The blades are phenomenal & working in conjunction with the 'motor' (as I call it!) will make whatever task you are doing quick & easy. This unit replaced a 19 year old lesser quality processor which was such a chore to use...I really should have bought a Cuisinart 19 years ago!

Powerhouse! Speed is fantastic but a bit to get used to. A bit fiddly with safety features! So heavy @18.5 lbs but full metal housing. Have yet to use the smaller container.

This is my second Cuisinart processor the first I purchased in 1989 the bowl broke. I tried to live without a processor and found I would not create some of my recipes. I like that there are two size bowls with this model. I am a definite fan of Cuisinart.

Really Improves on the (Already Great) Older Model

We bought the Elite 2.0 12-cup recently to replace our older model, which served us well for about 20 years. I really like the wider mouth on the lid and the extra size in the bowl. Shreds and slices very well. Tight seal and easy to clean. Very minor criticism, it's a bit harder to close than the earlier model, but overall it's fantastic and I strongly recommend it.
