Strong/Versatile. Lid design makes cleaning harder

Very powerful motor. Great to be able to use either 12-cup or 4-cup bowls. Design does make it hard to clean inside the lid though. Be prepared to remove the lid gasket every time for cleaning.

i love this. I wasnt sure as there were some bad reviews out there but they turned ou to be old, it was the gasket problem and cuisnart fixed that but unfortunately others out there dont know that.. This has everything I would want, I love the two bowl sizes and I love the way the top comes off and goes on, and the gasket making it leak proof. I love the watts and its hard to say anything bad about it. Its taken everything Ive thrown at it easily and very quietly which is very imnportant to me.. The only concern if there were any and its not a deal breaker, is the smaller pusher can be a little hard to clean if you dont have a dish washer which I don't but it no way is taken anything away from it. I hope it last forever. Its built like it will! thank you cuisinart.

Love it but would like a thicker slicing blade too

Love the unit... like the adjustable slicing blade.. ONLY reason not 5 stars is that, while other models have a thicker slicing blade (8mm) available for purchase, this one does not.

I have only used it once so far but if someone purchases this they should definitely become familiar with the “parts” and how they are used. Don’t just open it up and start it up without reading the instructions. Very versatile machine.

This Cuisinart replaces a 11 cup I have had for 15-20 years.t The 12 cup Elite is so powerful. I love the adjusting of the slicing bland and that the blades do not fallout when removing food. I have had it for a short time but am amazed how well it works. It pulverizes ground meat for wonderful homemade sausage and gyros. If you love to cook, you will want to check out this machine!

After 30+ years of use, my old Cuisinart gave up the ghost. The only drawback it had was if you placed too much liquid in the machine it leaked. Not so with the Elicit Collection 12 cup Cuisinart! This is a great machine and I really like the ability to adjust the slicer as well as the large or small compartment adjustment.
I would highly recommend this product. It's worth every dime!

I've used this quite a bit mixing heavy batters, chopping nuts and slicing. It is different from my old DC L10 in that it has more places for food to get trapped in cleaning however, I am so pleased with it's capabilities and the fact that the blade doesn't fall out and leak.
