Lots of things I love about this - the quiet motor, the large capacity, the sharp blades, the different blade attachments! The one thing I find annoying about this, however, is the fact that fibrous and/or wet ingredients, like celery, garlic, etc, get stuck between the rubber seal of the lid and the rotating blade. They're too shredded to fit in the blade and thus get stuck.

I am extremely happy with this food processor. My only complaint is that the "safety stem" on the lid broke off. I just leave it in place and use it that way. I could not make so many quarts of sauerkraut without this. It just slices the cabbage perfectly.

I like the original, simple cuisinart. This lid is ridiculous and all the parts to make the food opening different sizes is just too much trouble and more work to clean. The cuisinart doesn't have a variety of speeds like my original one so I can't go super slow or super fast- there's one speed and it's about a 7 out to 10. My husband bought this for me when my other one broke- not the one I would have chosen.

I love it but thought it came with the extra bowel but I like it a lot good size ease of use , I have my old girl the classic one that came with more blades but I love this one,

I've used this quite a bit mixing heavy batters, chopping nuts and slicing. It is different from my old DC L10 in that it has more places for food to get trapped in cleaning however, I am so pleased with it's capabilities and the fact that the blade doesn't fall out and leak.
