I've only had the Mini-Prep for a few weeks and I've been using it a LOT, mostly for chopping garlic, onions, shallots and other vegetables for sauces and gravies. It does a terrivic job. It's solid and much faster than I am with a knife. I love that it's so easy to clean, too. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

We have a full-sized Cuisinart food processor. It has served our family well for decades. I went vegan and needed something that could quickly chop onions, grind seeds, and make sauces for just one person. (My family still eats meat and milk products.) This little powerhouse does it all, quickly and dependably. And it cleans up quickly and easily. I am thrilled with it.

I purchased the Cuisinart Mini-Prep Plus 24 to help with small chopping, mincing jobs, and grinding jobs without dirtying my large food processor. It works great! My only complaint is if I add liquids, it leaks through the top in the case of making salad dressings. It is very easy to clean up. The blade is super sharp, so be careful not to cut yourself.
