I bought this to chop up nuts and a few dried fruits to make my own keto style cereal. It doesn’t seem to have a way to shop everything up, but instead, some nuts get chopped until they’re dust while others are nearly whole. I have tried chopping the nuts first then chopping the dried dried after and then mixing it with a spoon that seems to work OK but I was hoping to have a better uniform outcome.

I've only had the Mini-Prep for a few weeks and I've been using it a LOT, mostly for chopping garlic, onions, shallots and other vegetables for sauces and gravies. It does a terrivic job. It's solid and much faster than I am with a knife. I love that it's so easy to clean, too. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

I went vegan and needed something that could quickly chop onions, grind seeds, and make sauces for just one person. (My family still eats meat and milk products.) I purchased the Cuisinart Mini-Prep Plus 24 to help with small chopping, mincing jobs, and grinding jobs without dirtying my large food processor. It works great! My only complaint is if I add liquids, it leaks through the top in the case of making salad dressings. It is very easy to clean up. The blade is super sharp, so be careful not to cut yourself.
