We had this same Cuisinart Processor before and used it all the time for years. Finally the handle broke and it would not work without that twisting into the slot. Everything else is still in good working order. All of the other parts fit the new one if we have a problem, which I am not anticipating. These are well made and do a fantastic job. We use ours almost daily. For two people, this is so much easier to get out instead of our large processor.
