I used to have a food grinder as a part of my stand mixer. It stopped working after 40 years. In looking for a replacement I found choices expensive, too large and too heavy. When I found the Cuisinart I was delighted on its size and weight. It works quite well for grinding meat for ham loaf, grinding vegetables for various products, and is so easy to use. It is easy to clean an easy to store.

I have many Cuisinart product that I love and so when I want a mini food processor I automatically bought a Cuisinart. I have been very disappointed. I end up with very uneven results no matter what I have tried (in terms of quantity and number of pulses). I seem to always have a mixture of pulped large chunks with some of the item appropriately chopped. I wish I could return it. Right now I put it in a yard sale/donations box. A waste of money.

Maybe I got a dud but I'm very disappointed in the performance. 1.It leaks out the bottom when very warm liquids put in it. 2.Failed to puree beans fine for a creamy hummus. Ok for chopping onions (not uniformly) but I purchased it as a multi use tool with high hopes of making my life easier. That didn't happen.

Returned:. Won’t “chop” nuts we’ll at all, turns them to powder. Chops celery and onions well. Good for emulsifying liquids. Handle holds water after washing, takes days to dry. Very disappointed - always been a fan of Cuisinart products,

Mostly good. Just one small issue. When I use the chop function, the work bowl sometimes dislodges from the force of the spin. When I hold it in place it works fine.
