I love this food processor. I love to make hummus and this makes it a breeze. I had a ninja but the blades didnt reach the edges or the bottom i had to stir it and make a lot for it to work. The first time i made hummus in this mini prep it took like 3 min to make the hummus the way i like. The only drawback is that you have to hold the button down. However, since the blades are so powerfull you hust hold it down a few times and its done. And its a perfect serving size !

Probably, I would say this product does what it needs to. Overall. It’s pretty powerful and much can be accomplished with its ability to go in two different directions. That being said, there have been a couple of items I tried in it that proved to be a bit much for it wherein I literally had to hold the bowl in place as it kept wanting to spin its way out: peppermint candies (I had to crush a bunch at once and thought this one could handle it), and saltine crackers (perhaps I put too many at once). The processor got the job done eventually, but I just had to really hold tight to that bowl. I wish the bowl truly locked into place. It says “bowl lock,” but clearly it isn’t really locking it securely. Nevertheless less, it’s small, and does the majority of the jobs I’ve used it for with ease. For that reason, I gave it 4 stars.

I needed a few essential cooking & prep items while displaced from home due to flood damage. I ordered this Mini-Prep Plus to help me along the way and found it to be quite helpful and will find it to also be useful once I get back into my own kitchen. It's easy to use & store, just what I was looking for at this moment. I was able to have multiple uses with this once machine. Needed to grate cheese, chop pecans, chop herbs, etc.

I bought the mini prep because I wasn’t sure I really needed the larger 8 cup full food processor. This 3 cup mini can chop and grind wonderfully. I do wish the buttons didn’t have to be continuously pressed and held down for it to operate. I would prefer a toggle switch; press for on, then press to stop. It gets tiring holding the chop or grind button the entire time.
