I love my new Cuisinart! My old one died after 20 years of a lot of use. This new and far improved model is such a joy to use. I love the fact that things “lock” in place and the seal for the bowls is such a welcome change. Having a large and small bowl makes it so convenient and versatile. This is also the quietest Cuisinart I have ever seen - amazing. The storage unit for the blades and discs is also a great feature. Before, I used to just keep my discs in a cabinet along with the lid that went with them. The ability to “dial” the thickness I want on the slicing disc is such a wonderful feature ! I can’t say enough about this new food processor. I am looking forward to at least another 20 years to use this beauty. Just know this, it is large so take that into consideration for your storage purposes.

What an awesome product. My wife bought a cheaper version and we just gave it away. It really is you get what you pay for. This version is bullet-proof and a pleasure to use.

I gave this Food Processor 5 stars because there weren't 6! It is amazing. It is so easy to use--and we have had occasion to use just about all of the different shredders and blades. We have had it a week and we have made carrot cake, chocolate chip cookies, salsa, and homemade bread. It is a pleasure to use. The blades click in nicely and do not fall out when you empty the bowl. The dough blade does an amazing job mixing the ingredients and then kneading the bread. After using it, the entire bowl and blade are so easy to clean. I make it a point to clean it after using, to make it easier. But one night I forgot to wash out chocolate chip cookie dough. I filled the bowl with a little water and soap, pulsed it 4-5 times and the dried cookie dough was gone. We have put it on our countertop because we don't have cabinet space for it, and it makes our kitchen look like a high end gourmet kitchen. Final decision: this is an amazing food processor that will make a great addition to your kitchen.

After having watched the video on your site I bit the bullet and purchased this processor. I've had a cuisinart for over 20 years and was confident in my purchase. I couldn't be happier after using it for the first time yesterday! Looking forward to using it more.

I purchased this processor to emulsify meat for my homemade hot dogs. Its a beast !!! It gets the job done real fast. It is much better than my old processor for emulsifying.

I ended up returning this item. I have used Cuisinart Food Processors for over 37 years and am familiar with the technique for making bread dough, which I do regulalry. The manual stated it could handle 5 cups of white flour, but it could not. I would guess maybe 3 cups at best. Any more than that and the machine quickly bogged down and danced all over my counter. The exterior quickly got hot to the point I couldn't even touch it and eventually it shut off. I presently own the Cuisinart DLC-X PLUS 20-cup Food Processor which is no longer manufactured. It easily handles 10 cups of white flour, never bogs down, never gets hot. Why oh why did they stop making that model? I figured a 14-cup machine would easily handle 5 cups of flour. I was disappointed. I pursued interest in this machine because of the clever design for the adjustable blade and how that would minimize storage. I was also interested in it because I know my DLC-X might one day stop working so I wanted to be ready with a replacement.
Aside from my disappointment, I did like the overall design with the exception of the tiny feed tube which will barely accommodate 1/2 of a small apple. I appreciated the gasket around the lip of the lid to eliminate leakage and the bowl-inside-bowl—that is nice.
I am hoping Cuisinart will some day make a heavy-duty model like they used to as I am loyal to the brand.
