I've had a cuisinart processor for decades and it was time for an upgrade. WOW - the power alone is remarkable. However, the slicing blade was a real "game changer". The adjustment under the blade allows you to do paper thin slices up to much thicker ones in an instant!!! THANK YOU

This powerful unit is tough and has put to shame the commercial ones (Robot Coupe & Waring) I have in my work kitchen that cost 2X & 3X as much. Its motor is VERY strong. I can't say it will continue working for more than 20-30 minutes at a time before getting too hot but, who really needs that anymore, right?
Now, let's talk about the bowl. It is AWESOME! The lid comes off with the ease of a button. You don't have to twist it off like the older ones. It has a rubber gasket too! This is THE BEST, most well-made food processor I have ever owned. Period. Since my bowls usually break within 6mo-1yr from constant use, I purchased a backup bowl. Though, I really don't think I'll need one this time. This unit is SOLID!
The smaller bowl: It does smaller jobs like fine chopping garlic and ginger beautifully.

I love the functionality of this product and how easy it is to clean! I always find myself holding the blade in place to empty the bowl and then I remember that it clicks in place and I fall in love with my food processor all over again! The two bowl sizes that nestle into each other for storage is such a great idea and you no longer need two different for processors. The storage box is perfectly designed to hold all of the different attachments and accessories. I think Cuisinart just might have thought of everything... I would buy it all over again!
