I was looking to replace my tried and true Cuisinart food processor. I did a lot of research (mostly comparing Cuisinart, Brevilke and Kitchenaid models) and settled on this model due to the ease of cleaning, increased liquid capacity and adjustable slicing blade.
I love this food processor! A bonus was the dough blade! Due to the bigger bowl capacity I can make two pie crusts at one time!
I love the way that the top clicks on, it’s so much easier than the old twist-on models.
The only thing I found that my old Cuisinart did better, was to finely purée things like cucumbers for Benedictine spread. But I can now make a double batch, due to the larger bowl size.

After wearing out multiple inexpensive food processors that weren't nearly as powerful but also sounded like a Leer Jet, I finally saved up for this one. I am so happy that I did! I love, love, love it! Heavy as a bag of bricks and that makes me happy as well. It doesn't dance around on my counter and the sound doesn't pierce my eardrums. Treat yourself to a quality product. You'll be glad you did.

I bought this after missing out on a smaller floor sample a nearby store was selling. I'm happy that I missed out on the other one, as this one is great! (I had a bit of hesitation buying one this big, as this is my first food processor).
I find having the small bowl is a real help, as I often process a small amount for a salad dressing, etc. I have not found that both bowls need to be washed after the small one is used - the seal keeps liquids where they belong, and you can pull out the small bowl for pouring. I also have not had a problem with the seal getting dirty. It is easy to remove and reinstall, and easy to wash.
I can see how food or water might get into the lower handle after a while. I have not had a problem with that so far, though.
The performance of this unit it incredible. It is very quiet - when I use my blender, conversation stops, but when I use this you can hardly hear it running. Also, the motor seems like it will be big enough to handle anything I could throw at it.

I bought this food processor about a month ago. I was swayed by the motor warranty (I make nut butter weekly and needed a powerful motor) and the two bowls. The top of the processor has a button release rather than twisting off. The silicone gasket is an additional piece to clean, however, flour doesn't get all over your counter when mixing dough.

I love everything about the food processor except for the shredder. There is a space between the shredder blade and the edge of the bowl, so chunks of unshredded vegetables end up in the bowl with the shredded vegetables. I have to sift through the shredded bits and take out the unshredded chunks.

I received this product as a wedding gift and love it. My husband and I use it all the time and it makes many tasks in the kitchen fast and easy! Would definitely recommend to others. I don’t know how I lived so long without this product. My only warning is that the blades are extremely sharp (which is a good thing) so be careful!

The separate bowls are wonderful, chop nuts to bake cookies...then use the large to mix cookie dough. I love baking bread again, something I used to do with my old machine...until I dropped it. I purchased my previous one in the mid eighties.
