We have used the unit only a few times--so our experience is limited at this point.
What we do know is that it is (1) Heavy/apparently well-built. (2) Powerful. (3) Slower than our aged-out (1960's) Robot Coupe. Not great at home-made mayo, for instance. That said, chopping/slicing/etc. works perfectly

Love my new food processor! I haven’t used all the features yet, but sure I’ll enjoy them. This replaces my old cuisinart bought in the ‘80’s. Hope this one lasts so long.

Excellent processor. Easy to assemble or disassemble, works great. I use mostly for grating potatoes for hash browns or for chopping (onions, celery, pickles, etc). Only dislike is the optional whipping attachment, cannot get it to whip egg whites, have not (and will not) tried whipping cream.

powerful, versatile and convenient processor- helps get home cooked meals and baked goods and salads done easily. Better dining quality overall using this fine equipment.

I previously owned the Cuisinart 12 cup food processor. Have been wanting the 14 cup for quite awhile with the dough cycle. Finally purchased the 14 cup and have made several loaves of bread, muffins, cookies, especially good carrot cake. Do all my chopping, slicing and shredding saving much time. Gave my 12 cup to my granddaughter and still going strong. One thing I like, especially, about the 14 cup is the ability to remove the rubber gasket to clean around the inside of the lid; great feature.
