I had to replace the first of this printer model after one week. This is my second printer and the ink cartridge lasted for less than 50 copies before it clogged and will not release ink. I am very unhappy with this printer and ink set up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am sorry that you are having these issues. It is understandable that you are unhappy.
If the cartridge clogs up, it probably needs to be cleaned using the automatic routine from the printer menu. Usually cleaning is needed due to excess drying when the printer is turned off using a power strip or switch. The power button on the printer should always be used to turn the printer off. That allows the printer to 'park' in a position that will protect the printhead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't actually used the cartridge since it's a spare for my low ink. Don't do a lot printing so even at the low ink mark my cartridge seems to be holding up. Hopefully this cartridge will do as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All HP ink products are excellent quality, dependable and always color accurate. Why waste money on inferior inks that bleed, fade or streak? HP inks never fail you....HP is the best!!
