[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was trying to squeak out last bit from last cartridge and finally changed to new, larger.
There is absolutely NOTHING printing from this cartridge. I need customer service to contact me to send me one that works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,

I'm sorry that you didn't have a good experience with the cartridge. That must have been disappointing.

You might have a printhead that is clogged and needs to be cleaned.

If you feel that it is the cartridge that is the problem, please look into returning it. Instructions for completing the return and exchange process are at: store.hp.com/us/en/cv/returnsandexchanges

Great ink; wasteful HP printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ink is good, however the fact that my HP printer dumps it with the excuse "printer maintenance" every time I power up really ticks me off. I turn off my printer every night to save electricity but am stopping to do so. Electricity is a lot cheaper than ink!.

Hi Jerry,

I regret that you have had this experience. I can understand if you were disappointed when the printer seems to do maintenance routines too much.

The maintenance is vital to ensure that the tiny inkjet nozzles in your printer's printhead are free from clogs that can interfere with the quality of your printouts. Excessive clogging can shorten the life of the printhead, forcing costly repairs.

If you only print occasionally, it is a good idea to shut the printer down between uses. However, it is important to always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to position itself so that the printhead nozzles are protected from excessive drying which leads to the formation of clogs.
