We recommended our daughters' buy this dishwasher. It is the same as the dishwasher we installed 3 years ago. Ours has been trouble free and done a good job washing the dishes. Unfortunately, this same dishwasher doesn't clean the dishes unless the dishes are clean when you put them in. It also doesn't dry the dishes very well. There is a weird smell inside because a pool of water remains in the bottom when the cleaning cycle is complete.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
