Amazing learning for all kids

The Leapfrog Interactive Learning System is an amazing interactive toy for kids 2-7. My 4-year-old loves this system! The library features touch and talk games that the kids just loved.

Even better than before!

I LOVE this set! When my boys were little we were pretty hooked on LeapFrog products and then we had a little girl 6 years later. We received this LeapStart system to review and I love it even more! It's so colorful and engaging - my daughter grabs it all the time and sits in a corner to "read". It has been fun to watch her engage and there are fantastic educational book options to go with it. It's very sturdy and I HIGHLY recommend this for every single child and classroom! The handles are great to help her carry around her LeapStart.

Great Value and Fun Educational Toy

My 4 year old daughter recently received this toy and she has been playing with it ever since. It's perfect for her to use during "nap time" or quiet time in her room. She can engage with the books by herself and I've noticed she has been picking up words and sounds because of it.
It's a great valuable toy for preschoolers to help expose them to reading and begin to learn early reading skills.

Love it!

New stylus gives this thing new life. So much better for my child to grip. I Love the library of books availablefor this device and my only wish is that the sound were a bit louder for my hard of hearing kid.

Cons and Pros

It is still an overall good learning device. I just don't understand why you have to do all this downloading and waiting to install these books but before you didn't have to do that with the earlier versions. Its just really annoying that everything has to be so extra now-a-days. I would rather just put in a book and start reading to my baby. It makes my stomach hurt dealing with this downloading sometime.

Connecting software is terrible

I have been spent 30 mins trying to download new books on my daughter's leapstart. I am unable to figure it out as the software will not connect to the book to allow me to download. The leapstart is a waste of money if you cannot use the books.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
