Great for my 3 year old!

I homeschool my older kids (ages 7 and 5) and my 3 year old is always begging to join in. It can be hard to try to teach all 3 kids since they are at different levels. Now during homeschool time, I let my 3 year old play with the LeapStart while I work on schooling with the older kids. She feels special with her own device for school time and best of all, she's able to use it without needing help from me. Plus, I can tell she's learned a lot from using it already. I love the LeapStart and can't wait to get more books for it for her!
My older kids like to play it too as well!

Great for learning to read and building skills!

I was sent this for review and found it to be perfect for my preschooler to use! The LeapStart is a interactive teaching tool that not only has books available to help with early reading skills, but also helps with building those counting skills and more. I like that with each book that we can add, we can work our way up to where my preschooler starts with the counting, then go onto adding and subtracting through fun and interacting learning. The same goes for the reading, where he starts by learning how to write his letters, sounds them out and eventually puts words together! The stylus allows kids to gain real writing skills and learn how to hold the stylus just like a pen or pencil. I also like that with each book, we get more than 30 activities that my preschooler can interact with as he masters the various levels. Then as we get to where he has the skills down from each book, we can add to his library from the over 25 books available that go with the LeapStart! Making the LeapStart a must have for kids age 2-7 who are ready to start learning and build on their skills for school!

Excellent for beginning readers

As a former first grade teacher, I am all about anything that gets books in the hands of kids, so when I was able to receive this for review I jumped at the chance! The Leap Start interactive learning system is a great tool for beginning readers and gives them a fun and interactive way to practice sight words, sounds, letters and phonics. The LeapStart library also features touch-and-talk games, creative challenges, problem-solving puzzles, math mazes and more for 2-7 year olds with more than 30 activities in every book. It definitely makes a great present!

Fun independent learning!

My daughter is soon to be 5, and loves this! She has been mastering her numbers,letters and basic preK stuff - now moving onto challenging herself to learn more. As a homeschool mom I LOVE products like this, this is perfect for her.
Instead of naps, her quiet time consists of her taking one of her toys to play with, and this is one of them. It promotes fun independent learning while teaching her so much. My daughter has taken over this and all the books we have at the moment, but her younger brother (2) loves his turn too. So much to learn and play with, especially with the books you can purchase as an addition for your child to keep learning. The stylus is easy to use for them. Highly recommend this for children!

Prefect for my almost 2 yr old

Prefect for my almost 2 yr old son. The Leapstart is a great way to introduce learning. My son sits down in a corner with this, going through the motion of reading and pretend he's write. This is a great alternative to a tablet. FUN AND INACTIVE WITHOUT A SCREEN.

Great Product

We have 2 of these and love them. I have one for each child and they have been fun for the kids to play with when they don't get to have screen time. We love all the LeapStart Books and how interactive they are. The stylus is great cuz it is attached to the pad. This pad is durrable and great quality (yes my boys have dropped it and it was just fine)
One feature I do with this had is a non battery feature like the Leap Pads do where they can be charged!
I received this in exchange for a review. This is 100% my opinion.

Four Year Old Chooses Leapstart Over Screen Time!

My four year old loves his Leapstart Learning System! It's helping him solidify his recognition of number and letters, and he absolutely loves being able to read "his own books" just like his older brothers.
There are plenty of activities and games packed into each book, and he goes back again and again to read and play his favorites. I love that he chooses this over "screen time", and that we are building a love of reading early on.
His teachers are crazy about it too! I'm glad that he's even closer to being prepared for kindergarten in a way that helps him realize learning can be fun!

What A Fun Learning Toy & So Great For On-The-Go!

What a fun toy for young children! It has everything kids want at this age - sounds, touching, music, learning and their own writing stylus. There is different play levels so many ages can play and it grows with your child! It is great for families on the go, long car rides and anytime children want to learn and have fun!
I love how it folds up and is easy for any child to carry by themselves!
